Admission to the Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com.) course at the College of Commerce is strictly based on merit.
Eligibility:
Candidates are required to have passed the 10+2 level examination in any stream from a recognized State/National Board or equivalent examination.
Selection Criteria:
Admission to the course is strictly based on merit. Candidates are required to appear for the Admission Selection Process comprised of:

  • Alliance Aptitude Test (AAT)
  • Personal Interview

The College of Commerce also uses other parameters such as scholastic and extracurricular record for admission. The final selection of the candidate will be based on the overall performance in the Admission Selection Process.

Scholarships for 2012
Scholarships are available to Indian students to support full-time study at Alliance University. Each year AU awards several scholarships in the form of fee remission to outstanding candidates. These scholarships of positive inclusive effort vary in value and have different criteria on which they are awarded.

The following scholarships are available to eligible enrolled students of B.Com course at Alliance University College of Commerce.

Eligible students of the B. Com. course may submit the Application Form for Scholarship in the prescribed format with original testimonials/documents/transcripts/marks cards etc. Students can apply for scholarship in only one of the above categories. The final decision on the award of scholarship will be communicated by the Scholarship Committee.
Students are required to abide by the following terms and conditions upon admission to the Bachelor of Commerce course:
1.Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information contained in this Website and it is issued on the express condition that all matters in it are subject to change from time to time without notice. While the College of Commerce will make all reasonable endeavors to deliver the programs of study and other educational services as set out in this Website, circumstances may change prompting the College of Commerce to reserve the right to vary the content and delivery of courses and programs, to either discontinue or combine courses and programs, or to discontinue educational services.
2. Fees payable for the Bachelor of Commerce course are subject to review periodically. Ensuring that fees are paid before the announced due dates is the sole responsibility of the student. Non-payment of the prescribed fees within the due dates will result in the cancellation of the registration to the program or to the subsequent term / semester.
3.Policy regarding refund of fees:
a. The course fee has two components - Registration fee and Tuition fee
b.The Registration fee, once paid, will not be refunded by the College of Commerce under any circumstances. The objective of this clause is to discourage frivolous applications
c.The refund of tuition fee paid will be considered under the following conditions:
i. If a candidate withdraws from the course prior to the commencement of the program, then 75 percent of the tuition fee will be refunded.
ii. If a candidate withdraws from the course within one week after the commencement of the course, then 60 percent of the tuition fee will be refunded.
iii. If a candidate withdraws from the course anytime after one week from the date of commencement of the course, then no refund of tuition fee will be made.
4. Students will also be liable for any travel and accommodation costs incurred for placement. For certain courses, students may incur additional specific charges for such items or activities as sports and games fees, specialized material, or field trips. The College of Commerce reserves the right to make additional charges to students for such activities.
5.The College of Commerce may withdraw or amend its offer of admission, or terminate the registration, if it is found that either a false or a misleading statement has been made or that significant information has either been omitted or withheld in a candidate's application form.
6.The College of Commerce does not accept responsibility and expressly excludes all liability that may result from any loss, damage, or injury caused to a student or to his/her property.
7. Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce course are required to sign an undertaking at the time of the commencement of the academic year consenting to abide by the rules, regulations, and the code of conduct of the College of Commerce.
Note: Disputes of any kind are subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts in Bangalore only.
